Salt Lake City Advertising Agency uses unique approach to sell Living Scriptures Building

When Living Scriptures no longer had the number of staff on-site like they used to, they felt it was time to sell their state-of-the-art building in Ogden, Utah and move to a smaller facility. After trying a traditional realtor with no success, they turned to Merrell Remington, an advertising agency in Salt Lake City Utah, to create some unique methods to break through the clutter to the Corporate decision makers.
Merrell Remington decided to market to companies in California with more than one current location -- the thinking being that with California's current economic situation, many corporations there would be open to moving or expanding their operations to out of state. The mailer created to send to these companies played off the old "Chicken Crossing the Road" jokes by illustrating that it was really the smart birds, not the chickens, who cross the desert to Utah for new business opportunities. A website -- SmartOldOwl.com -- was created to accompany the campaign and to offer more information about the beautiful Living Scriptures buiding offered for sale.
