Website Created to Help LDS Members do Missionary Work
ShareBookofMormon.com allows members to send personal variable printed materials
March 1, 2010
ShareBookofMormon.com is a website created to allow members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to order personalized kits to send to people they know who aren't members of their church. Merrell Remington, an advertising agency located in Salt Lake City Utah, created the website and all the programming to make the personalization function. All the ordering and payment is done online with user friendly forms and guidesteps. In the ordering process, the member can have the printed materials printed with the recipient's name, with a picture of the local meetinghouse and the times they meet, with contact information for the local church leader, and the member can even enter a personal note from themselves and their own picture to be printed on the materials. All the variable print materials are are printed and fulfilled through an automated process by Digital Studio, the variable digital printing division of Merrell Remington. Members can choose whether the materials are shipped to themselves or directly to the referred family.
